Anna Sobaski’s passion for helping people enjoy a gluten-free and allergen-free lifestyle led her to create her amazing bread. She is continuously developing her mixes and traveling the country, teaching gluten-free and allergen-free cooking classes and workshops.
Anna experienced first-hand the debilitating discomfort and fatigue associated with Celiac Disease, and the difficulty in finding a tasty and nutritious gluten-free bread. With the double whammy of having type-1 diabetes, and being a lover of all things food, her personal goal was to develop gluten-free bread with both the taste and nutrition of a whole wheat bread.

Breads-from-Anna-Gluten-Free-Baking-MixesWhen we say a product is “free from,” we mean it.

We package all of our mixes in our own, dedicated gluten, soy, rice and nut free facility to have the ultimate control. Our facility is USDA and Kosher Certified. To ensure quality and safety we regularly submit our mixes to lab testing.

We source from high-quality ingredient suppliers that do not use equipment shared with wheat/gluten. Because many of us at Breads from Anna are celiac and have severe reactions to gluten (and we love to eat our own products!) we take every possible measure to ensure we are allergen free. We care about our customers and welcome your questions.

All of our mixes are gluten-free, soy-free, rice free, and nut-free. Many of our mixes are also free from corn, dairy, yeast, and potato. We do use corn and dairy in one of our mixes but this mix is segregated from the eleven mixes that do not contain corn and dairy. Please check the specific mix you are interested in for its complete allergen listing.

EarthKosher provides kosher certification to all varieties of Breads from Anna products.  We have discovered twelve inspiring mixes: Yeast Free Bread Mix, Pumpkin Bread Mix, Banana Bread Mix, Original Bread Mix, Black Bean Brownie Mix, Dairy & Corn Free Bread Mix, Maple Pancake & Muffin Mix, Pie Crust Mix, Pizza Crust Mix, Apple pancake & Muffin Mix, Classic Herb Bread Mix, and Cranberry Pancake & Muffin Mix.

Gluten Free Peach Blueberry Prize Pie Recipe – Breads from Anna

Pie Crust Ingredients:

1 package Breads from Anna® pie crust mix
¼ cup milk or water (or non-dairy drink)
¾ cup oil
1 egg yolk, lightly beaten + 2 teaspoons water, for brushing over the crust (optional)
Filling Ingredients:

4 cups peaches
2 cups blueberries
¾ cup sugar organic cane sugar
¼ cup cornstarch or arrowroot (add up to 3T more if the filling is very jucy)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
A pinch of nutmeg
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
2 Tablespoons butter (optional)
Gluten-Free Pie Crust Directions:

Combine wet ingredients (milk, oil, vinegar) into a large bowl.
Add dry mix and gently stir until well combined. The crust will be oily but do not worry – this is how it should look.
Press bottom crust into standard 9-1/2 inch glass pie dish.
Roll out top onto a cutting board between two pieces of wax paper.
Place crust top in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. Once the crust top is chilled it will allow you to remove the wax paper easily.
Filling Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients: sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk until well combined.
Remove peach skins and pit, and cut fruit into thin slices. Combine peaches, blueberries, and lemon juice, and stir into dry ingredients until well combined.
Pour mixture into the pie shell.
Remove wax paper from rolled out top crust and place on top of pie. Seal around the edges and cut small slits in the center to allow steam to escape.
Brush egg wash all over the top crust.
Bake for 15 minutes, then place pie ring or foil around the edges to prevent over browning.
Bake an additional 60 -70 minutes or until bubbly and crust is golden.
